This project, developed by a team of high-school seniors as part of the course of Research Methodology aims to apply basic notions of Mechatronic Engineering to propose the implementation of an automated recycling center in Cuernavaca. This project wants to contribute to making a more sustainable community by helping to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and the 2030 Agenda, specifically to Goal 11, which refers to ‘Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable’, and to Goal 12, which refers to ‘Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.’
